After several weeks on the MuchMusic countdown, Danny Fernandes hit the #1 spot on MuchMusic’s Top 30 countdown with his latest single “Hit Me Up” ft. Belly and Josh Ramsay of Marianas Trench. The song, off his second album AUTOMATICLUV also reached platinum, making this Danny’s very first platinum hit! “I am so excited for this,” Danny expresses. “I had fun working on the song, and the video so I am extremely happy that we’ve achieved this success. CP Records and Management artists earned 7 nominations this year at the 2012 Juno Awards! Leading the pack is Danny Fernandes with two noms in the Video of the Year category for “Hit Me Up” which features Belly and Josh Ramsay, as well as in the Canadian Dance/Pop Single of the Year category for the same song, alongside labelmates Mia Martina for “Burning” and JRDN for “I Don’t Care.” Belly earned Mixtape of the Year nomination for his 2011 release The Greatest Dream I Never Had, and CP Records DJ Keith Dean also scored two nominations in the Radio Mixshow DJ of the year and MTL DJ Of the Year. Belly recently got added to the NOKIA Music Store in the United Arab Emirates, and his other single “Take Me Away” recently was added to Radio 1 in Dubai and playing on the Fusion evening show.
